The need to shop is great in this one. But I need to be all ~adulty~ and think of spending money on ~adult~ things like paying rent, paying for food, buying things and food for Lui and what not. But a girl can dream! And I've been fond of browsing eBay lately.

Clean up your wardrobe, gurl
Sorting through your wardrobe:
- TAKE OUT EVERYTHING IN YOUR WARDROBE. This also gives you a perfect opportunity to deep clean your wardrobe.
- If you haven't worn it in the past year, donate it*
- Has it got nasty stains you have tried countless times to remove but it won't come off, toss it
- Does it fit the way you like, if not, donate it*
- Can you imagine it as a part of an entire outfit, if not, donate it*
- Sort out your socks and underwear, toss out stuff with holes in or things that are just not wearable any more
- Look at your shoes, have you worn them recently and will you wear them in the near future? Do you even like them any more? If not, toss the really disgusting and broken shoes, donate the rest*
- Reconsider the bags you have. Do you really need those 10 clutch bags you've only used once? Are they just taking up space? Do they work with your current wardrobe? If not, donate them*
- Jewellery. Jewellery is my personal soft spot and I have a hard time getting rid of it, but realistically I do not even wear half of what I have. Toss everything that's broken or tarnished (unless it's your great grandmother's old necklace or something like that, keep it safe in a little box) and things you just don't like or would wear any more goes to your donate* pile!
* Can also be given to friends and family. Another option is to clean up your items a bit and sell them online for a fair price! eBay, Depop and sites that are brilliant for selling things you don't want any more!
How to use your space efficiently and organisation:
- Velvet/felt and wire hangers are thinner than plastic or wooden ones, which means you'll have more space on your rack. Also, felt/velvet hangers prevent clothing from slipping off (which is handy if you're also plus size where your clothes tend of have bigger necklines)
- During the warmer months, fold jumpers and bulky clothing and put in storage bags/boxes and store somewhere else (could be under the bed or something like that) to make space for in-season clothing
- ^ can also apply for the colder months, put away clothes you wouldn't wear during autumn/winter
- If you have a lot of basic t-shirts/tops, roll them up and put in decorative boxes in your wardrobe. By rolling them up instead of folding you can fit more and they won't lay on top of each other so you can see what you have
- ^ can be used with jeans/leggings/skirts/shorts as well
- When hanging up clothing it could be an idea to section off your items. All dressy shirts together, all dresses together, all jumpers together. By organising like that, you don't have to search ages for that dress you thought of wearing last night
I hope this helped and inspired some of you to go through your wardrobe and do a clean out. Clean surroundings gives a clean mind! Or something like that.

Early Christmas shopping
I'm a person who likes to be prepared. And don't worry, I'm only showing the things I got for people who don't even known I have a blog or can get access to it!
Let's start with what I've (well it's from both my brother and me) ordered for my mum.
When you order online, please order early. Ask or look for the option to return even though Christmas is a bit away, just in case. Because mailing things during December is insane. I KNOW my mum will love these things, so a return will not be needed.
For my grandmother I got:
These adorable tea light houses were a steal from Rema 1000. If you're fast, you can still get them, but in my lokal one they sold out during the first 2 days. The big ones cost 49 kr and the small 39 kr. There's 2 different designs in the big ones and only one design for the small. I would personally love to have these, but my mormor deserve them more than I do!
Let's start with what I've (well it's from both my brother and me) ordered for my mum.

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue 100 ml gift set. Can be found here. |
![]() |
Hedgehog pendant on 18" chain. Can be found here. |
For my grandmother I got:
I also got something for my cousin, my friend Noe (hi baba if you're reading, you'll love what I got your cute arse :i) and Sean, but I don't want to put anything in here because I'm sure at least 2 of them look at my blog!
Now to myself... hihi
Cat make up bag 20 kr, penguin storage box 30 kr (both from Tiger). "Peace, Love and OPI" and "Alpine Snow" 125 kr each, but there's a 3 for 2 offer in Matas at the moment! And then some glittery hair ties arrived today. Can be found here. |

Cat Lady Supplies
.jpg)
Cat face bags - Ebay // Phone pouch - Ebay // Cat Tapestry Weekend Bag - Amazon // Paul & Joe Facial Cleansing Foam set - Asos // New Look Coin Purse - Asos // Geek Cat Snood - Asos // Galaxy Cat Scarf - Asos
I've been a cat lady ever since I was a baby. My first two pets were cats. Frankly, since then, I haven't been able to have a cat in my home, due to my dog. He doesn't get along with other pets, so I've had to put aside my dream of being a cat mama. BUT, that doesn't mean I can't buy stuff with fluffy cats on to feed my need for having a feline in my life!
I've already ordered the first two cat face bags, both from a different website though and both came to 100 kr total. Which isn't bad for two bags at all! And I think when I get paid again and have paid off my mum, I'll get the galaxy scarf. I'm just in love with these items.
Psssst, can you keep a secret? I even have a "Cat Lady Supplies" folder in my browser.

Ebay shopping and my experience so far.
So, I recently found myself gravitating towards shopping online. Being the cheap I am, I refuse to pay crazy amounts of money for things like a plastic bracelet or a little ring. Unless I know it's not going to stain my skin green or has to be specially made and I know I won't get tired of in a month. So one night after watching a Youtube video with a girl talking about finding a bracelet on Bracelet for only $1, I thought I would give it a go. And I must say, I was hooked. So I thought I would give you my thoughts on my experience so far.

Is it worth it?: I love these. They are pretty small, but the metal is soft so it's easy to gently bend them open a bit wider so they fit around larger wrists, can even be made smaller for smaller wrists. Still have yet to break on me, I wear them pretty often and bend them open, and no damage so far. Really pleased with these.

Shipping took (work days): 17
Is it worth it?: Again a meh. I mean, it looks nice. I hoped it looked nicer. The hoops between the leaves are annoyingly big for me, so I'll have to find some smaller ones to replace it. But it's a nice statement.

Neutral Warm Eyeshadow Palette
Price: $6.95

Date bought: 7/2/13
Date shipping: 10/2/13
Date received: 23/2/13
Shipping took (work days): 12
Is it worth it?: This depends on what you are into. For the price, it's fine. Some colours are sheer, some insanely pigmented. I don't own much make up because I don't use much, so this is fine for me. But if you want a bit better quality, this is probably not for you.
Over all experience:
I really enjoy shopping on eBay. It's quick, it's safe and you safe a lot of money and can find unique pieces. Only thing is the waiting time which often puts people off, including myself. But I grow to love some of the items I buy.
I hope you enjoyed this post, it took a long time to put together, but I hope it was somehow helpful. Thank you for reading. Please share or even follow for more, I would appreciate it greatly!
To shop on eBay you need an account, which is safe and easy to do. When you're in, this is what it looks like:
From here you can search whatever your heart desire. To even more specific and precise searching, there's the "Advanced" page, which gives you more options to make your searching easier and faster.
The absolute safest way to shop online, is using PayPal. It's a service - which is completely free - where you sign up and add your card information, and it saves it and keeps it there. If is completely private, no one else will be able to see it - of course since it's probably the safest way to shop online - and you don't risk having it leaked on unreliable websites. You can even transfer money to your PayPal account, but that I'm not too familiar with. But I promise you, it is safe. Else I wouldn't talk about it.
Before into going what I bought, I want to go over pro and cons.
- Most of the things are pretty cheap
- Shipping is most often the same day
- Shipping is often free (or very very low priced)
- Payment is safe
- Searching can get so specific you find the item you want in a few seconds
- Most sellers are really nice
- You can see what other people think of some sellers by clicking on their "Feedback". It shows positive, neutral and negative feedback from customers, and can help you get an overall view of the sellers and decide if you trust them
- Shipping can take a long time. We're talking about 20+ days. It depends on the seller and how fast shipping is. But I have got items waaaay before estimated time.
- You can risk not receiving the item (I will go about that in my list of things I bought)
- Some things can look different from what you see.
So now to the fun part. I will list sellers, details, how long shipping took, my overall impression of the shop, quality and is it worth it?

Is it worth it?: On the pictures you see some white stuff on one of his arms. I tried to make his arms open a bit more so it could grab around my ear, but accidentally snapped it off. If you have tiny ears, go for it, else, do not try and expand it, it will break. I would not recommend this for everyone.

Is it worth it?: Because I have larger "ear flaps" (very technical, Malle, very technical.) this doesn't look as good as I wanted. If you go to the item link and see the "model" wearing them, they look awesome. I love these, but I wish my "flaps" were smaller or my piercing put lower. If you have smaller "flaps" or a lower piercing, go for it, it's freaking awesome. But else.. I will say it's a pass. Sadly :-(
